**Let’s jump right into the Pitt recruiting news for the day.
One of the more impressive performers of the Pitt camp over the weekend was Florida wide receiver Josh Palmer, who has an offer from Pitt. I talked to Palmer after his visit to get his immediate reaction to Pitt.
“The camp was fun and I enjoyed showcasing my talent in front of the coaches and they were happy with my performance”, said Palmer.
“I was able to talk to Coach Sherman about teaching points he had for me and I was able to to have a conversation with Coach Narduzzi about the program after the camp.”

Being from Florida, I asked Palmer his thoughts on the city and the football complex.
“It wasn’t my first time in Pittsburgh. However, it was my first time at the school. The facility and the water rehab machines were really impressive.”
Palmer told me that right now the schools that he’s really high on are Louisville, Syracuse, Maryland, Michigan, Nebraska and NC State and Pitt.
“With my visit to Pitt, they will be a factor in my decision making when it is time to commit,” said Palmer.
UPDATE (9:38 AM)-
**For the second straight year, Pat Narduzzi is being very creative with how he “recruits.” Narduzzi is inviting local players down to the South Side to watch the Finals Game 5 between Cleveland and Golden State just as he did last year with the Mayweather/Pacquaio fight. The kids will be required to pay an admission fee.
I have confirmed that 2017 Pitt commit Paris Ford will be there. I’m working to find out the names of other players.
UPDATE (1:48 PM)-
**Update on visitors to the Pitt/NBA Watch Party. I’ve confirmed that both University Prep’s Kenny Robinson and IMG Academy’s (former Gateway) 5-star OT Robert Hainsey will attend. I’ve been told more names, but need to confirm, so check back.
UPDATE (2:13 PM)-
**2018 TE Alex Reigelsperger from Huber Heights, Ohio tells me that he will be visiting Pitt tomorrow and Thursday. I’ll have more with Reigelsperger in a bit.

**I don’t know if this was reported yet, but incoming freshman Damar Hamlin will be wearing #3 at Pitt.
UPDATE (4:10 PM)-
**Two more names added to the Pitt/NBA Watch Party tonight: Aliquippa’s Kwantel Raines and Tariq Jones.
UPDATE (4:22 PM)-
**Penn Hills 2018 WR Julian Major will be at Pitt tonight.
