Over the next 2 months, the Pitt football program will be hosting many potential recruits and it begins today with a linebacker from Alabama.
Cam Bright (Montgomery, Alabama) received an offer from Pitt on May 3 and today he’s coming to town to check out the school. Bright and his mother will arrive in town this afternoon and plans to check out everything Pitt had to offer.
“It’s definitely a far travel but it shows my commitment and seriousness to the university”, said Bright. ” I will be bringing my mom with me because I want Pitt to show her a good time as well.”
Bright tells me that he’s really looking forward to checking out the Pitt campus and to feel the atmosphere of the football program. Bright was offered by Coach Hill and is being recruited to play linebacker.
Bright says that he’s looking forward to talking face to face with the Pitt coaches. “I’d like a little feedback on my game film and the things I need to work on as a football player.”
Bright also has trips planned to Louisville and Bowling Green but is there a chance of a commitment today?
“There’s a slight chance of a commitment but only time will tell.”
