2018 River Rouge safety Reggie Pearson made the trip from Michigan to Pittsburgh to check out the Pitt Blue/Gold Spring game yesterday.
I talked to Pearson on his way to Pittsburgh and he told me that the 2 biggest reasons he was visiting was to see Pat Narduzzi and fellow Michigan native Avonte Maddox.
Pearson told me that he thought Narduzzi “was the greatest defensive mind in college football.”
I just talked with Pearson and got a quick recap of his day.
“I feel that their program is very comfortable, family-like so to speak”, said Pearson. “They hold nothing back and always show their true colors. Pitt’s a very physical football team and coaching staff is really hands on and close with their players. I really liked how they really have that NFL experience because of the sharing with the Steelers field and facilities.”
So did Pitt offer or does he expect one soon?
“No not yet, Coach Hill told me real soon. He’s trying to finish up on the 17 class. I a great time.”
